- I was born in Windsor, Ontario Canada and attended Essex District High School. At EDHS, I was a part of many sports teams including volleyball, basketball, soccer and badminton. (Yes Badminton!!).
- From high school, I received an athletic scholarship to play volleyball at Eastern Michigan University which I did from 2000-2004. I had a lot of fun but also learned numerous life lessons especially about time management and also how to work together in a team.
- At EMU, I met my husband, Ricky (who played basketball from 2000-2004). We are currently living in Milford with our 3 dogs (see picture below...Black Lab - Cal, Puggle - Ryder, Boston Terrier - Indy). We got married April 8th, 2010 in Ochos Rios, Jamaica.
- I have been teaching at Pinckney High School for 5 years and also taught 1 year at Brandon High School in Ortonville, MI.
